Yemeni journalists held a demonstration in the Yemeni capital Sana'a for the Dutch couple who was kidnapped two months ago.

The demonstrators, who consisted of journalists and the members of human rights organizations, came together in front of President Abd Rabuh Mansur Hadi's house in Sana'a.

Demonstrators wanted the Yemeni Government to get involved in the case for releasing Dutch journalist Judith Spiegel and her husband Boudewijn Berendsen.

Judith Spiegel and her husband Boudewijn Berendsen were kidnapped in early June in Yemeni capital Sana'a.

Spiegel works for international Dutch Radio and is also a professor at the Lebanese University in Sana’a.

A Dutch journalist, Judith Spiegel, was abducted in Yemen with her husband, Boudewijn Berendsen, more than three weeks ago.

The couple were seized by gunmen from their house in early June in the Haddah area of the capital which is home to many diplomats and expatriates.

Kidnappers demanded a $10 million ransom for Spiegel and her husband.
