Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr has said that they were concerned about the health of Palestinians who were on hunger strike in Israeli prisons.

Amr told AA on Wednesday that the sanctions imposed by Israel on Palestinian prisoners were against international agreements as well as Geneva Convention.

Amr asked for intervention of international community.

If there is a life-threatening situation for Palestinians in Israeli prisons, it would fuel the tension, he added.

Palestinian prisoners Samir Isavi and Eymen Servane have been on hunger strike for 204 and 140 days respectively to protest the bad conditions in Israeli prisons.
