European Union decided to support Palestinians in West Bank's Area C which is occupied by Israel with 7 million Euro aid.
High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton received Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and stated, EU will support socio-economic development of Palestinian families in the Area C with the 7 million Euro financing agreement.
Ashton stressed, the Area C was crucial in the sense of Palestine's economic viability and noted, for a significant change in there, they would continue to work with all partners.
Israel has the control of the Area C which forms about 60 percent of the occupied West Bank.
In spite of 150 thousand Palestinians, the Area C hosts 325 thousand Israelis.
