According to eyewitness reports, 8 military bulldozers and 1 tank belonging to the Israeli army entered 200 meters into the Gaza-Israel border, and destroyed agricultural land in the city of Khan Yunis, rendering the structures on the terrain unusable.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Navy opened fire with automatic rifles at the fishing boats of Palestinian fishers off the northern coast of Gaza. It was indicated that no lives were lost in the attack. The boats suffered heavy damage due to the attack.
Citing the rockets fired from Gaza at the end of last March, Israel restricted the fishing zone of Palestinian fishermen from 6 miles to 3 miles.
After the agreement signed on November 22, 2012 between Israel and Palestinian groups, Israel had removed its previous restriction of the fishing zone.
