Israel raided on Monday Jenin refugee camp, taking into custody two former members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades affiliated with the Fatah movement.

Clashes ensued between Israeli forces and Fatah members, and Israeli forces used live bullets, local sources told the Anadolu Agency.

No casualties were reported.

"Israel's occupation forces try to interrupt activities of the Palestinian Security Forces by raiding the cities, villages and camps in the West Bank" said Talal Dweikat, Jenin governor.

Dweikat said the raid in the Jenin camp was "a provocative action."

Israeli authorities have yet to make a formal statement about Monday's raid.
