French activist Jacques Duran, known for carrying out activities for the benefit of Palestine, reacted to the Israeli policies on residential units and blamed Israel for expansionism.
Opening the stand of France-Palestine Solidarity Association (AFPS) in "Fifth World Human Rights Forum" in Nantes on Friday, Duran called on more than 100 countries' participants to act with solidarity for Palestine and emphasized that Israel violated its 1967 borders, occupying Palestinian territory.
Being a member of AFPS in Nantes province of France, Duran stated that Israel was violating human rights on Palestinian territories by "opening new residential units" which "should stop its illegal expansionist policies".
Duran emphasized that Israel expelled thousands of Palestinians from their homelands because of its expansionist policies and noted that many Palestinians were detained unjustly as "politic arrestee".
He added that some big French companies cooperated with Israeli army and supported Israel's expansionism, calling on French citizens to boycott those firms.
Saying that France also followed expansionist policies particularly in Algeria, many African countries and some island countries, Duran emphasized the need for human rights at most in today's world.
