Arab League has strongly condemned an Israeli soldier's stepping on a copy of the holy Koran and interfering with the girls reading the Koran in Al-Aqsa Mosque. Mohammad Sabih, assistant secretary general of the Arab League, called for urgent precaution against Israel oppression of Palestinian people. He said things going on in Al-Aqsa is a message for Arab and Islam world.

"We strongly condemn the cruelty," said Mohammad Sabih. "It is a violation of human rights and a disrespect to Jerusalem, our sacred values and Muslim people," he said.

An Israeli soldier interfered with the girls who came together to read the Koran in Al-Aqsa Mosque, said Al-Aqsa Foundation and Cultural Heritage Organization. During the interference, a girl dropped the copy of the holy Koran she was carrying and an Israeli soldier stepped on it.
