A group of Jewish residents attacked on Wednesday vehicles of Palestinians in Ramallah in response to the release of 26 Palestinian prisoners as part of renewed peace talks between Israel and Palestine.
A group of Jewish settlers hurled stones at the vehicles of Palestinians in Beit, according to local sources. The Ramallah-Nablus road was closed to traffic due to the attacks.
Palestinian authorities are concerned that similar attacks might take place against Palestinians in the West Bank.
Israel on Wednesday freed 26 Palestinian prisoners, 15 of whom arrived in Gaza and 11 in Ramallah.
