Fatah Revolutionary Council Secretary-General Amin Maqbul has said they hope that US Secretary of State John Kerry's economic plan at the World Economic Forum is not an alternative to a political solution.
Maqbul told Turkish press on Tuesday that Kerry's plan was the biggest help since Palestine administration in charge and the plan could make a big economic change.
Maqbul said that if Kerry, who was given nearly ten days to start talks between Palestine and Israel, failed, the Palestine administration would apply to international courts and demand Israel's trial.
"I hope Fatah and Hamas would reach a consensus because at the latest meeting in Cairo, they agreed that a national compromise government led by Mahmoud Abbas would be founded in three months, and that presidential and legislative elections would be held. I expect two decrees would be issued on both the formation of a government and elections," he said.Last Mod: 28 Mayıs 2013, 15:27
