Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona is reportedly on the verge of becoming the new manager of the Palestine national football team.

It is said that Maradona is in 'advanced talks' to take the post ahead of the AFC Asian Cup tournament in Australia in 2015, Argentinian news portal Infobae reported.

Citing Middle Eastern media sources, Infobae claimed the ex-coach of UAE's Al Wasl could soon be announced as Palestine's fifth manager.
