A Palestinian was killed and two others were injured late Wednesday in an Israeli strike north of the Gaza Strip.
Mohamed al-Arour, 30, was killed when an Israeli fighter plane fired a missile at a motorbike in the northern town of Beit Lahia.
Two people sustained medium and serious injuries in the attack, he added.
Hundreds of Palestinians on Thursday took part in a funeral for a young man killed in an Israeli airstrike.
Mourners chanted slogans calling for revenge for Israeli "crimes" committed against Palestinians.
The Israeli army, for its part, said the slain Palestinian had participated in rocket attacks against Israel.
"Our policy is clear: kill those who rise up to kill us," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement.
He went on to "remind" the international community that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had pledged that the new Palestinian unity government would uphold previous agreements with Israel.
"This means that he is responsible for dismantling Hamas and other terror groups," Netanyahu said.
