Secretary General of Palestinian cabinet Abdusselam Siyam said they were ready to host Palestine-s great guest regarding Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Palestine.
Siyam told Turkish press that Erdogan’s visit was very important to them adding that they were looking forward to Turkish PM’s visit.
Stating that Erdogan’s visit would have historical and particular results, Siyam said Erdogan could come to Palestine with important projects and he would support the works of a Gaza port to restart.
“We will present Erdogan many projects such as substructure, alternative energy. We will discuss the projects of temporary production for poor families with Erdogan and if these projects could be financed. We will also inform Erdogan about the panoramic museum project like the "Panorama 1453 History Museum" in Istanbul. If Turkey agrees to support, this be will a historical project,” said Siyam.
Siyam said they assumed the visit would be on May 31 which is the anniversary of Mavi Marmara Flotilla raid adding that Turkish Prime Ministry informed them that Erdogan would visit Palestine at the end of May.
"Erdogan does not accept the pressures from US in relation to his visit to Palestine and this reflects the strong relations of Turkish government with its people, Siam emphasized.
Referring to Erdogan’s statements that Hamas and al-Fatah should unite, Siyam added they took his advice into consideration.Last Mod: 07 Mayıs 2013, 14:40
