Deputy of the Palestinian Fatah Movement Jamal Tirawi blamed Israel on Tuesday with piracy as it was kidnapping Palestinian deputies in the West Bank.
Tirawi, who was released by the Israeli Supreme Court on Monday after six years in prison, told Turkish press that Israel arrested Palestinians arbitrarily.
"Israel looks down on Palestinians' lives. I am taking legal advice to file a lawsuit against Israel which released me finally believing my innocence after six years in prison. I will exert efforts via Fatah Movement to reveal Israeli crimes before international parliaments," said Tirawi.
President of the Palestinian Prisoners Society Kaddura Faris also made a statement, and said "release of Tirawi after six years spent in prison is the evidence of Israel's arbitrary arrests."
Blamed for "financing attacks of Palestinian groups on Israel", Tirawi was arrested back in 2007, tried and sentenced to 30 years in prison. He was released on Monday by the decree of the Supreme Court of Israel without providing any explanation.Last Mod: 07 Mayıs 2013, 15:04
