An Israeli army force invaded the Dheisheh camp and detained two Palestinians after searching and ransacking their homes.

Clashes had erupted in the camp between Palestinian youths and Israeli army troops, during which the former hurled rocks at the troops, while the latter responded with teargas and live ammunition, according to eyewitnesses.

The clashes left one man injured – who was transferred to a nearby hospital - and several others with temporary asphyxia who were treated on the spot.

Israeli troops also detained three Palestinians in Al-Khalil (northern West Bank), three others in Nablus (southern West Bank), and a citizen from the northern city of Tulkarm, all of whom were taken to an unknown location.

The Israeli army, for its part, announced on its radio the arrest of six Palestinians in various spots across the West Bank and took them to an undisclosed location.
