Prime Minister of Palestinian National Authority Ismail Haniyeh negotiated the national reconciliation process with group of independent community.
Tahir En-Nunu, Spokesperson for the Palestinian government, held a press conference and said, "Haniyeh negotiated with the committee to reach the national reconciliation between Palestinian groups."
En-Nunu stressed that regional changes and existing political developments were also negotiated in the meeting. "There is a consensus to end the separation between Hamas and el-Fatah, and to arrange a settlement between them,".said En-Nunu. Munip Al-Masri, President of the community, also commented about the meeting.
Al-Masri said that Haniyeh stressed that the political division in Palestine should be ended, transitional government should be organized, and the elections should be held.
"Egypt will go on to host the Palestinian groups for reconciliation process" said Al-Masri.
Group of independent community was established in 2006 and targets to reach unity in Palestine and to reach a consensus. The community is comprised of clerics, businessmen, academics, journalists, and the representatives of non-governmental organisations.Last Mod: 06 Mayıs 2013, 13:09
