Palestinian youths have opened a hole in an Israeli barrier near the West Bank town of Bethlehem, an activist said on Saturday.

According to Khaled al-Daadoua, the youth had made the hole in the barrier near al-Khadr village near Bethlehem.

None of the youth has been arrested by Israeli army.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army declared the area where the breach was reported a "closed military zone", according to the army radio.
