Similar clashes were reported in Salwad village in eastern Ramallah, but no casualties were reported.
The clashes come as Israeli continued a deadly offensive in the Gaza Strip, which left at least 158 Palestinians killed and hundreds injured since Monday.
Israel claims that the onslaught aims to end rocket fire from Gaza into Israeli cities.
