Deputy Chairman of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party Huseyin Celik on Monday said that "once PKK terror ends, the whole region would feel better".
Celik met with the head of the regional administration in north of Iraq, Massoud Barzani in a meeting that was closed to the press corps.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Faculty of Dentistry of Isik University in Irbil on Monday, Huseyin Celik said that he had a warm meeting with Barzani.
As the brothers of north of Iraq in Turkey, I am pleased to see the development in north of Iraq every year, Celik stressed. We appreciate the atmosphere of tranquility and peace in north of Iraq, Celik underlined.
Turkey is going through a major development and change of mentality, Celik said.
"You will see that the whole region would feel better when PKK terror ends. There is an ongoing peace and solution process in Turkey. We will reach success with your prayers and support.
