Turkish Prime Minister's meeting with leader of Iraqi Kurdistan regional authority last weekend could strongly boost the "peace process", said Sefin Dizaei spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Administration.

Calling for all parts to act responsibly, Dizaei said PKK should support the talks as Iraqi Kurdistan hopes the process to reach solution, in his interview with AA’s reporter.

“This was a very crucial which was followed by the entire Kurdish nation” said Dizaei, “Mr. Barzani’s visit will make an enormous contribution to peace process”.

Masoud Barzani visited Turkey’s south-eastern province, Diyarbakir, for a meeting with Erdogan last Saturday. Turkey launched talks to resolve the Kurdish issue last year, a ceasefire is underway while the negotiations carry on. The visit is expected to kickstart the process, which was seen as deadlocked lately.
