Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday that early signs point to ISIL as the perpetrator of Saturday's deadly blast that targeted a wedding ceremony in the southeast.

Speaking to reporters in Istanbul, Erdogan said a suicide bomber age 12-14 was involved in the wedding attack, adding that he blew himself up or was detonated.

About the latest death toll from the attack, the president said 51 people were killed, and 69 were wounded, including 17 critically.

The attack took place in the Beybahce neighborhood of the Gaziantep province’s Sahinbey district around 10.50 p.m. (1950GMT) on Saturday, according to the Gaziantep Governor's Office.
