The Turkish prime minister said on Saturday that heinous attacks would never affect Turkey's determination to fight against PKK.

Turkey's Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a telegram to Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug regarding PKK attack that killed ten soldiers and wounded 16 others in the southeastern province of Hakkari.

In the telegram, Erdogan expressed deep sorrow over death of ten soldiers and wounding of 16 soldiers.

Erdogan said the Republic of Turkey had the right to protect its unity and solidarity, as much as other countries, and Turkey would maintain its determination to counter PKK without any hesitation.

"We will go on with our fight until the terrorist organization is eradicated," Erdogan said.

Erdogan said Turkish nation knew well for whom the terrorist organization was serving as a hitman.

"Our state will definitely overcome this separatist intriguer that tries to harm the stability, unity and solidarity of our country," he said.

Erdogan said Turkey had the will and power to eliminate that separatist threat, and was ready to pay every type of price.

"We will reach a result together with our glorious nation and hero security forces without losing our calmness and without harming our brotherhood, no matter how great our sorrow is," he said.

Erdogan also said Turkish nation would never forget the unique self-sacrifice and glorious memories of its hero martyrs.

At the end of his telegram, Erdogan presented his condolences over the casualties.

Eight soldiers died and 14 others were wounded in a terrorist attack on a military outpost near Turkey's border with Iraq in Semdinli town of the southeastern province of Hakkari early on Saturday. Twelve terrorists were killed in the clash that erupted between security forces and terrorists.

Security forces later launched an operation on the terrorist organization. Two soldiers died and two others were injured in a mine blast that occurred when security forces were following the terrorists who attacked the military outpost.
