Mayor of Istanbul, Kadir Topbas, had a "septal deviation" and "endoscopic sinus" surgery on Monday.

In a written statement released Monday, the Istanbul Municipality said that Topbas's surgery took place at the Bahcelievler Medical Park Hospital.

The surgery was successful and Kadir Topbas is in good health, the statement also said.
