Members of the militant organization PKK kidnapped three people in Lice town of the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Saturday night, governor said on Sunday.
Diyarbakir's Governor Mustafa Toprak said militants blocked Lice-Bingol highway near Ziyarettepe hamlet last night.
"Vehicles of a sergeant major, a specialized sergeant, and a health personnel were found in the region," Toprak said.
Toprak said they could not contact three people, including two soldiers, and therefore they were thinking that those three people were abducted.
A further statement from the governor's office said operations were under way to rescue the three kidnapped people, including two soldiers and a health personnel.
