It has been announced that the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has responded to the letter of jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan. The response letter specified that all of Ocalan’s decision were seamlessly accepted.

In a statement on a site associated with the PKK, the organization expressed, "we have held the meetings between the authorized decision-making bodies of our movement. Although we have some concerns which we have previously expressed, such as the protection of the regional advantages and tactical performance which we believe we can succeed in winning, we have decided that the strategic perspective presented by our leader is more correct, and have unanimously decided to strongly partake in it.”

The statement signed by PKK commander Murat Karayilan also specified the need to eliminate a number of concerns by conveying, “In this sense, we have decided during all the meetings we have held that the perspective put forward by our leader is correct and we will participate in it; but we have also presented a number of our views and suggestions in the response letter.”
