Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) deputy Sirri Sureyya Onder said that PKK would begin to withdraw from Turkey after April 25.

A press conference would be made in Qandil on April 25, and then the PKK's withdrawal process from Turkey would begin, Onder told reporters on Tuesday.

The important thing is the willingness of the parties for solution, said Onder, adding that he saw the will in the government.

The PKK organization's jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan has recently called the armed elements of the organization to withdraw from Turkey.

Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz said that the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) would do what the laws required during the withdrawal process of the PKK from Turkey.

Yilmaz's statements came after Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) deputy Sirri Sureyya Onder said that the PKK would begin to withdraw from Turkey after April 25.

When asked whether Turkish troops would withdraw from the region, Yilmaz replied "no,” and added that the laws of Republic of Turkey were valid in every square of the country.

People in that region (southeast Turkey) should be protected too, said Yilmaz, adding that a weakness would not be made in any region.

Land Forces Commander Gen. Hayri Kivrikoglu denied the claims that Turkish troops were being withdrawn from the region (southeast Turkey) within the scope of solution process to Kurdish issue.

There is no withdrawal; it is an organization for summer season which is quite normal, said Gen. Kivrikoglu.

It was claimed that the troops were withdrawn from the southeastern region of Turkey within the scope of solution process to Kurdish issue.

"We are continuing our ordinary mission in the region," said Gen. Kivrikoglu.
