Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan spoke about the May 27 coup, the opposition party and economic developments at the Expanded Provincial Heads Meeting.
During his speech, he condemned the Republican People's Party (CHP) of “having taken far more photo albums with Assad than with our people,” and for visiting Damascus more than Turkey’s southeastern city of Diyerbakir.
Erdogan also asserted that they have documents proving that some of the suspects who were involved in the bomb attacks in Reyhanli, which killed 51 people on May 11, were the same individuals with which the CHP visited Assad in Syria.
Erdogan criticized the CHP, saying, “What are you talking about, which people of Reyhanli and which one of your brothers in Hatay are you claiming to have stood beside? How unfortunate that those who served as your ambassadors are the planners behind the incident in Reyhanli.”Last Mod: 24 Mayıs 2013, 17:35
