Saleh Muslim, the leader of Syrian Democratic Union Party (PYD) who has visited Turkey for the second time in 2013, and is reported to have requested the border gates to be permanently open to humanitarian relief.

Aldar Khalil, an offical of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) and a member of Kurdish High Council (DBK), made a statement to Anadolu Agency and said Muslim was in Turkey for various political meetings and having negotiations as a follow-up to previous meeting with Turkish officials.  

Noting that the latest developments and humanitarian relief issues were to be discussed, Khalil also said after first visit some aid was allowed to reach their region. He added "What we demand is opening of the border gates completely and permanently for humanitarian relief."  

The leader of PYD Saleh Muslim visited Turkey on July 23, 2013 and met with officials of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
