Turkey’s Deputy Chairman of Parliament, Sadik Yakut, has said he "saw no grounds" for the resignation of AK Party’s Deputy of the central Anatolian province of Kayseri, Ahmet Oksuzkaya, who stepped down on Sunday.
Yakut told reporters that Oksuzkaya had been thinking about leaving the party for a long time.
‘’We found out about his resignation with great sadness,’’ Yakut said.
The number of AK Party seats in the 550-seat parliament dropped to 317 after Oksuzkaya's resignation.Last Mod: 30 Mart 2014, 22:24
