Turkish Human Rights Commission on duty for Myanmar Muslims

The Turkish Parliamentary Human Rights Commission has decided to make investigations in order to watch for violations of the rights of Arakan (Rohingya) Muslims in Myanmar.

The Turkish Parliamentary Human Rights Commission has decided to make investigations in order to watch for violations of the rights of Arakan (Rohingya) Muslims in Myanmar.

Chairman of Turkish Parliamentary Human Rights Commission Ayhan Sefer Ustun said that the commission had gained the right to establish investigatory committees and pay visits to Myanmar so as to watch the situation when necessary.

The investigations could also be conducted in Bangladesh and other places where Muslims take shelter.
