Having visited Iraq last month, followed by a trip to Egypt, the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party is now sending a delegation lead by party leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu to Iran.

Kilicdaroglu’s assistant Faruk Logoglu told CNN Turk that although no calendar for visits had yet been set up, there are plans to do so.

Mentioning that the party is maintaining contact in regards to organizing visits, he said that the topic will be discussed during the meeting of directors.

The visit is planned to take place in November, while a visit to the US looks likely to happen after local elections.
