Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold a security meeting at Prime Ministry HQ at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

National Security Council (MGK) member ministers, Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug, commanders of forces, and other authorities will attend the meeting.

Deputy prime ministers, justice, national defense, interior and foreign ministers are the MGK-member ministers.

Israeli operation on a convoy of ships carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and related developments will be discussed in the meeting.

Israeli navy forces raided a convoy of ships of Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza, killing at least 9 people and injuring 30 others on Monday.

Turkey strongly protested Israel and recalled its ambassador.
