The second meeting between Israel and Turkey about the compensation over the attack on the "Mavi Marmara" aid vessel will start next week in Israel.
"A Turkish delegation will visit Israel next week for meetings. Israel's National Security Council will host the Turkish delegation from Ankara," a senior official of the Israeli foreign ministry told Turkish press.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's advisor Joseph Ciechanover will represent Israel at the second talks. Netanyahu's national security adviser Yaakov Amidror, had chaired the delegation at the first talks in Ankara.
Compensation for the nine Turks killed aboard the Mavi Marmara ship, the lead vessel in the aid convoy, was one of Turkey's key demands to agree to restore relations after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu extended an official apology last month for the deaths.Last Mod: 30 Nisan 2013, 15:36
