France will host the United Nations (UN) Climate Change conference in 2015, announced a statement issued by the French Presidency which said that the conference will take place between November 30 and December 11 in the Bourget region of northern Paris.

The 19th Climate Conference held in Polish capital Warsaw concluded on Friday and the 2014 conference will be hosted by Peru.

The UN Climate Change Conference is held annually within the framework of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). They serve as the formal meeting of the UNFCCC Parties (COP) in assessing the progress in dealing with climate change.
