Most of the Atlantic reigion, including the United States, Africa and western Europe, witnessed a rare solar eclipse on Sunday with some areas being completely blacked-out. It was also partially visible in parts of southern Europe and eastern Africa.
It was first visible Florida, USA, just after sunrise. One of the best views was in northern Kenya, where people gathered to view a total blackout. The best view however, was seen 330km south-west of Liberia, and lasted for more than one minute.
The eclipse was also seen across Africa in Congo, northern Uganda, southern Ethiopia and Somalia.Last Mod: 04 Kasım 2013, 11:48
