National Aeronautical Space Agency's(NASA)Spitzer Space Telescope has taken impressing pictures of the cosmic community called the North American nebula. Spitzer´s picture is an infrared version of what can be seen with other telescopes.
One of the things that make me so excited about this image is how different it is from the visible image, and how much more we can see in the infrared than in the visible," Luisa Rebull from the Spitzer Science Center said.
Over 2,000 new young stars have been identified. The picture gives insights into the development from a new-born star to a "parent star" for others.
