Russian army gets new anti-surveillance system

World Bulletin / News Desk

The Russian army is set to make use of the 1RL257 Krasukha-4 anti-radar system designed to block aircraft-based electronic surveillance.

A statement from the Radioelectronic Technologies group was reported by RIA Novosti as declaring the arrival of the powerful radar jamming system.

As well as intercepting foreign surveillance efforts, it can also combat drones.

Surveillance has become a major issue worldwide, especially after the latest NSA spy scandal that was revealed by ex-US NSA employee Edward Snowden.
