Istanbul, at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, is the perfect option for a global digital, technology and telecommunication capital of the future, Webit CEO Plamen Russev tells AA.
Russev added, "I am personally furious and very disappointed by the fact that Turkey was not selected for the 2020 Olympics, but to make a comparison, Webit Congress is the Olympics equivalent for the world's global digital, tech and Telco industries.”
Webit has been held in London, Cannes, Barcelona, New York, Cologne and Austin. Russev said Istanbul will be the biggest congress so far in Webit history.
“Being at the cross roads of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, Istanbul is the perfect place to engage these markets and to gather the global industry in Turkey,” he added.
