France won FIFA U-20 World Cup final 4-1 on penalties against Uruguay on Saturday.

France and Uruguay battled it out on July 13 for the chance to be named the champions of FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013 in Istanbul.

Ending the regular time in 0-0 draw, France and Uruguay tied also at the extra-time.

At the final match of FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013 at Istanbul's Turk Telekom Arena, France reached victory by defeating Uruguay with a 4-1 win on penalties.

According to the final scores of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey, the first three rankings are as follows: France, Uruguay and Ghana.

FIFA Vice Chairman Senes Erzik, Turkey's Youth and Sports Minister Suat Kilic attended the cup and award giving ceremony at the end of the tournament.

Ebenezer Assifuah of Ghana received the Golden Boot as the top scorer of FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013.

Uruguay's Guillermo de Amores won the Golden Glove as the most successful goalkeeper of the tournament.

Spain were chosen as the most gentlemen team for their fair play.

Ghana's Clifford Aboagye got the Bronze Ball ranking the 3rd most successful player of the tournament while Uruguay's top scorer Nicolas Lopez won the Silver Ball securing the 2nd place.

Paul Pogba of France claimed the Golden Ball as the top most successful player in FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013.
