"The total loss incurred since December 17 has reached around 120 billion dollars. How can you do this? How can you start such a campaign? This is the work of a gang, an organization. Unfortunately, all opposition parties are in this together," Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said referring to the anti-graft operation that was launched on December 17.

Speaking at a mass opening ceremony in Akhisar, Manisa, Erdogan accused the opposition harshly saying "They don't care about corruption at all. ... They don't care about law or justice either. They only care about one thing: corroding the government, and going back to old Turkey."

Erdogan was in Turkey's western Manisa province on Sunday to attend the opening ceremony of public and private facilities with a total investment of 27 million liras.

Stating that the investments in Akhisar are ongoing, Erdogan said that the foundations of a 12,000-seat stadium were laid, and the stadium, which costs 55 million liras, is planned to be finished in 2015.

Noting the upward trend of votes for the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party with every election, Erdogan said that one of two votes cast in the last election went to AK Party, and added that these are all a vote of confidence.

Stating that there are people who cannot tolerate the national will and democracy gaining power in Turkey, Erdogan said: "We have always waged a relentless fight against those circles, gangs and organizations intending to extort national will, and shelve democracy. We have done our best to ensure that only you, the public, could control the direction of Turkey."
