Akşener called on Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and Mansur Yavaş, Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, to be candidates for the Presidency candidacy.

Both mayors are known as the chairman of the CHP.
