Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met today with Pakistan's National Security and Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz in Beijing in due course of the Ministerial Conference on Istanbul Process.
They talked over bilateral relations and regional issues. Mevlut Cavusoglu and Sartaj Aziz jointly expressed satisfaction over the pace of bilateral cooperation. They both hoped to improve bilateral trade as well as better relations along with this process.
Çavusoglu and Aziz also jointly highlighted their confidence to push on the implementation process of memorandum of understanding signed between Turkey and Pakistan.
During the meeting Turkish FM Cavusoglu has described bilateral relationship as “close and forward looking encompassing a complete gamut of economic, trade, and political relations”, informing that Turkey would host an horticulture exposition on children and flowers next year from April 23 to October 30 and invited Pakistan to participate.
Aziz said that Turkey and Pakistan could collaborate in developmental and exports related issues. The current atmosphere of Middle East and challenging difficulties, which Muslim world facing with are also among the themes being discussed by Cavusoglu and Aziz on the sideline of the Ministral Conference in İstanbul.
