Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will visit Kiev on Monday for a meeting of the "Turkey Ukraine Joint Strategic Planning Group."
Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement late Friday that the meeting is aimed at "reviewing Turkey-Ukraine relations and discuss new areas of cooperation."
"The situation of Crimean Tatars, latest developments in eastern Ukraine along with regional and international topics will be discussed as well," said the statement.
Cavusoglu will co-chair the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin.
He is also expected to meet President Petro Poroshenko, address Crimean Tatars, give a conference in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev and visit Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's mission in Ukraine, which is led by Turkish Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan.Last Mod: 09 Kasım 2014, 11:05
