Turkey's first separatist party has been set up

A new party calling itself the Partiye Azadiye Kurdistan (PAK-Free Kurdistan Party) has submitted a petition for the establishment of the new party to the Department of Domestic affairs. It states that the Kurds should be their own separate state.

Completing the setting up process the PAK submitted their petition on Monday morning. After the submission the party is expected to declare itself as a new party. Chairman Mustafa Ozcelik, who has said that he will be an independent within the party and other such as Vahid Aba and Mehmet Salih Ozkokce are also listed as founding party members.

Aba who is amongst the founding members, provided an analysis of the party and its doctrine said "The Kurds must form their own government. We have placed this as the agenda of the party. This is what makes the party different. We have made the idea of becoming a state the forefront of our party. We must be entitled to the rights that other free people are entitled to.

From the perspective of struggle, civil disobedience is a priority. The party's main doctrine is " Kurdistan Right Now". Aba said that even though he main base is in Ankara, Diyarabakir will be the main district for the party.
