Turkish Airlines, Turkey's national flag carrier, launched its sixth destination in France by inaugurating flights to Bordeaux on Friday.
To honour the first flight to Bordeaux, a ceremony was held at Bordeaux International Airport.
Turkish Airlines (THY) will provide flights to Bordeaux four days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The duration of the direct flights to Bordeaux from Turkey's Istanbul Ataturk Airport is nearly 3 hours.
Bordeaux became Turkish Airlines 6th flight city in France and its 254th destination of which 211 are for international destinations.
