Russia is interested in developing good relations with Turkey, Russian President Vladimir Putin says in a new documentary.

"Turkey is a big country, our neighbor. We had different relations for centuries. We are interested, we are objectively interested in good relations with Turkey," Putin says in an interview with anchorman Vladimir Solovyov in the documentary "World Order 2018".

Istanbul is set to host a trilateral meeting of Russian, Turkish and Iranian presidents in April, mainly dealing with the Syrian issue.

In the documentary, Putin expresses concern about a possible U.S. nuclear attack, mentioning that it is the only country to ever use nuclear weapons in combat.

Putin also says that the development of multi-centric world model is a natural process and will be better for the world.
